The structure of pneumatic control valve can be decomposed into two parts: valve body (including valve seat and valve hole, etc.) and valve core. According to the relative position of the two, there are two types: normally closed and normally open. The valve can be divided into three types from the structure: globe type, spool type and slide type valve.
(1) The structure and characteristics of the globe valve
The valve core of the globe valve moves along the axial direction of the valve seat to control the intake and exhaust.
After the two-way globe valve enters the working air pressure at the P port of the valve, the valve core is tightly pressed on the valve seat under the action of the spring and the gas pressure, and the compressed air cannot flow out from the A port; after the valve stem is subjected to downward force, the valve The core moves down and is released from the valve seat, and the compressed air can flow from the P port to the A port for output. This is the switching principle of the globe valve.
Normally open structure valve, the valve core leaves the valve seat under the action of the spring force, and the compressed air flows from the P port to the A port for output. Under the upward force of the valve stem in the working state, the valve core is tightly pressed on the valve seat to close the valve port, the flow channel is closed, and no compressed air flows out of the A port.
